Our team will be attending this year’s International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) show from June 4-6 in Anaheim, California. Featuring the newest, most innovative products and services in dairy, deli, and bakery, IDDBA provides valuable networking opportunities while allowing attendees to hear from industry experts on a range of topics.

Tradeshow Offerings and Events

This exciting tradeshow brings together industry leaders from around the world, allowing buyers, merchandisers, and executives alike the chance to network and view various new technologies, products, and innovations.

Over 9,000 attendees and exhibitors will be present at this year’s event, with over 1,900 different booths, where companies and organizations will be showcasing their products and fielding questions.

Various speakers, including Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Giada De Laurentiis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jim Belushi will be discussing business and consumer trends. IDDBA chairman Jewel Hunt, author Molly Fletcher, IDDBA President and CEO Mike Eardley, former President of Trader Joe’s Doug Rauch, author Eddie Yoon, and former CEO of Starbucks Jim Donald will also be presenting.

A “Show and Sell” workshop will allow attendees to view live demonstrations during interactive 30-minute sessions in an impressive 10,000-square-foot space.

Also, a new product showcase will highlight new developments in packaging and food services, allowing attendees a first look at items that haven’t even hit the shelves yet. A new addition to this year’s event, “Expert Neighborhood” will bring together several industry experts on one show floor, allowing attendees the chance to meet with them one-on-one and discuss industry challenges and business trends.

Focus will be placed on three main areas: people (subtopics: engaging customers, engaging employees, and engaging millennials), products (subtopics: food waste, innovation, product profitability), and regulations (subtopics: Food SafetyModernization Act, menu calorie labeling, and product labels).

Plastic Ingenuity at IDDBA

Plastic Ingenuity will have several packaging samples on hand at our booth: our peel and reseal film, which allows consumers to peel back the top of the packaging and then easily reseal for reliable product preservation, as well as our grab-and-go packaging for easy snacking while on the run, and our tamper-evident packaging for reliable defense against contamination.

We’ll also have our high barrier food film packaging on display. Depending on the specific application, these high barrier films can be used as substrates or as independent packaging materials, while providing strong gas, moisture, and vapor properties. Our nylon barrier films, in particular, are extremely versatile, as they can be cooked or microwaved.
