Jason Crosby, Plastic Ingenuity's Medical Business Manager, has been invited to speak at the Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) West conference in Anaheim, California on Monday, January 28, 2008. The MD&M West trade show is the world’s largest medical OEM. Mr. Crosby’s presentation will be given during the Medical Device Packaging Session 103.

His one hour presentation, The Art and Science of Thermoforming, is a case study that explores a custom thermoformed medical package throughout its development cycle. The unique perspective of this presentation will be the analysis of how art and science interact during product development and thermoforming.

Crosby is responsible for all facets of Plastic Ingenuity’s medical packaging business; dealing primarily with operations, business development, package engineering and validation issues. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. He has 11 years of thermoforming industry experience with Plastic Ingenuity, and is a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers and the Institute of Packaging Professionals. Additionally, he has presented nationally on various topics related to medical packaging and thermoforming.

In addition to Crosby presenting at MD&M West, Plastic Ingenuity will be exhibiting in booth 1389 at MD&M West on January 29-31, 2008.
